On-site destruction for 50 or more hard drives
Our on-site pneumatic-punch service is offered free for batches of 50 or more hard drives. The punch physically puts holes in the hard-drive platter; the drives are then taken for shredding. Contact us to confirm the drive types, location, and service arrangements for your batch. For fewer than 50 drives, ask about available options and pricing.

3. Arrange destruction and request the records your business needs.
Destruction certificates and audit records
RFL emails a destruction certificate and can provide information about the downstream handling of the media for auditing. Certificates of Recycling are usually emailed within 3 calendar days of pickup, and Certificates of Destruction are usually emailed within 10 calendar days of pickup. Before booking, tell us whether you need serial-number records, details of the destruction method, or other documentation so we can confirm what can be supplied. Check the media before choosing a method
Hard drives, solid-state drives (SSDs), and other storage media are not all the same. Do not assume that a method used for a hard-drive platter is suitable for every device. Tell us the media types so we can discuss the appropriate arrangements. Recycling pickup alone is not confirmation that data has been destroyed.
